Viviana Lasaracina

Winner of such national and international piano competitions in Italy as “Città di Cesenatico,” “Marco Bramanti,” “TIM – Torneo Internazionale della Musica,” pianist Viviana Lasaracina, has garnered many other competition prizes and honors: among them, the 11th Castrocaro Competition (winner), “Premio Venezia” (2d prize), “Ciudad de Ferrol” (3d prize/best performance of Spanish music), 53d Ciudad de Jaèn (3d prize/Audience Prize), the 1st open Piano Competition in London (2d prize/Best Performance of a Classical Work); fellowship and a recording for “Sarx Records” by “Società Umanitaria” in Milan, study fellowship by Ministry of Education University and Research, and fellowship By Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe.  She was also a Finalist at 57th “Ferruccio Busoni” International Piano competition in Bolzano

In 2006 she made her well-received Milan debut at Sala Verdi for “Società dei Concerti,” and recent performances have included appearances on Radio Vaticana and recitals in Italy, Austria, Spain, Germany, France and Poland: Torino (Sala Verdi), Mantua (Teatro Bibiena), Milan (Teatro Dal Verme), Rome (Teatro Argentina), Salerno (Teatro Verdi), Padua (Auditorium Pollini – “Amici della Musica”), Saragoza (Auditorio de Congresos ), Salzburg (Wiener Saal of Mozarteum),  Paris (Salle Cortot), Nice, etc.  She has also appeared with Magna Grecia Orchestra and Ciudad de Granada Orchestra.

Viviana graduated from “Nino Rota” Conservatory in Monopoli, with full marks, full honors and special mention at the age of 18, having studied with Benedetto Lupo.  She has also participated in master-classes by L. Berman, E. Virsaladze, S. Perticaroli, A. Jasinski, M. Somma, A. Lonquich, C. Martinez Mehner, M. Raekallio, and A. Vardi.  Currently she is studying with Christopher Elton at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
