NEW YORK, NY — Acclaimed pianists Klara Min, Yoni Levyatov, Magdalena Baczewska, Yevgeniy Karafin and Peter Vinograde will perform at the premiere of "Evenings of Piano Concerti," a special concert series running bi-weekly from September 13 through October 25 at the Yamaha Piano Salon and November 2 through December 14 at the Good-Shepherd Church in New York City.

The eight-part concert series will feature thirty-nine celebrated pianists, accompanied by the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, performing works from J.S. Bach, C.P.E. Bach, J.C. Bach, Haydn, Beethoven, Chopin, Mendelssohn and Schumann. It will also feature premieres of contemporary concertos by noted living composers Robert Sirota, Henry Martina and Reiko Fueting. The series will kick off with two performances of works by Bach on September 13 and 27 at 7:30 p.m.

"My passion for this series is to find hidden talents who are in need of exposure, besides the already well-known pianists," said Klara Min, presenter and featured pianist of the series. "The series has a mixture of pianists in different stages of their careers, including some very young talent, and I am very happy to be able to provide the opportunity for them to perform with an orchestra."

The first evening, September 13, will include pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, such as Concerto for Harpsichord & Strings in G minor, BWV 1058, performed by Klara Min; Concerto for Harpsichord & Strings in D minor, BWV 1052, performed by Yoni Levyatov; Concerto for Harpsichord & Strings in E major, BWV 1053, performed by Magdalena Baczewska; Concerto for Harpsichord & Strings in A major, BWV 1055, performed by Yevgeniy Karafin; and Johann Christian Bach's Concerto for Harpsichord & Strings in E-flat major, Op. 7, No. 5, performed by Peter Vinograde.

On the second evening, September 27, the performances will include Johann Sebastian Bach's Concerto for Harpsichord & Strings in D major, BWV 1054, performed by Maxim Anikushin; Concerto for Harpsichord & Strings in F minor, BWV 1056, performed by Molly Kiser; Concerto for Harpsichord & Strings in F major, BWV 1057, performed by Claire Huangci; and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach's Concerto for Harpsichord & Strings in D minor, W23, performed by Victor Goldberg. The harpsichord will be replaced by piano in all concerti.
