AUDITION ROUNDS AND DATES
Auditions are in two forms. Applicants can
choose to have either DVD audition or LIVE audition
LIVE Audition Dates:
Munich, Germany: February 4, 2015
London, United Kingdom: February 5, 2015
Warsaw, Poland: February 7, 2015
Düsseldorf, Germany: February 9, 2015
New York City, USA: February 10/11, 2015
Announcement of winner: March 1, 2015
LIVE Auditions in CHINA
Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Wuhan in CHINA
Auditions in China are organized separately.
Selected pianists in China in 2015 audition will join New York audition in 2016.
REPERTOIRE AND APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
A free 60-minute recital program. Works submitted should be published
All required materials must be submitted and uploaded to the online application form.
Application shall contain the following documents:
a. Application form
b. A high-resolution professional photo in an electronic form: upload your high resolution photo directly to the online application form or email to info@newyorkconcertartists.com
c. A biographical sketch and a CV including the information of previous concert experiences, education, prizes and awards
d. A non-refundable application fee $150 (late application fee: $200) by check or money order or pay online
e. Audition program (Please include all details: title, opus number, movements, composer, dates)
f. Repertoire list- works you have studied in the past five years
g. A copy of applicant’s birth certificate, passport or any other official document establishing the age of the applicant.
h. A letter or recommendation from a renowned musician
The recommendation letter must be addressed to New York Concert Artists & Associates, and signed and sealed by the recommender. E-mail recommendations are not accepted.
i. Those choosing DVD auditions must submit two identical DVDs (See DVD guidelines).
j. Two suggested programs for your Carnegie Debut Recital if chosen
6. Application has to be in its completion. Incomplete application will not be considered.
Documents sent will not be returned.

DVD GUIDELINES
- DVDs must show one hour of the applicant's solo performance
- Two identical DVDs must be sent.
- DVDs must be of high quality. We recommend using external microphones for audio.
- DVDs must contain performance materials made within the past two years.
- DVDs must not have been edited.
- DVDs shall present the performance of the pianist’s hands, his/her whole silhouette and right profile
- DVDs need to be signed either by the video engineer or by the applicant’s teacher or other known musician
