About the Artist

Hailed by critics as an "outstanding violinist", "of fiery temperament", Virgil Boutellis-Taft performs as soloist and chamber musician in major international concert halls. Next season, he will play at Cadogan Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with which he has just recorded his latest album. He will also perform at the Musée d'Orsay, Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philharmonic, the New York Symphony Space, the Kursaal San Sebastian ... As part of La Belle Saison, he will give a series of concerts in Europe. Virgil plays the Domenico Montagnana "ex Régis Pasquier" Venice 1742, on generous loan of an anonymous benefactor.
